Emre Taha Özcan has been involved in various choir projects as a vocalist and instrumentalist since his high school years. He completed his undergraduate studies in the Musicology Department of Istanbul Technical University’s Turkish Music State Conservatory. During his education, he had the opportunity to work with esteemed academicians such as Prof. Dr. Şehvar Beşiroğlu, Prof. Dr. Gözde Çolakoğlu Sarı, and Süleyman Şenel.

Continuing his graduate studies in the Music Theory and Composition program at the same institution, Özcan took lessons from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eray Altınbüken and Dr. Nail Yavuzoğlu. In his ney studies, he had the chance to work with Neyzen Salih Bilgin, Neyzen Ali Tan, and Neyzen Sadrettin Özçimi, while he pursued his guitar studies with Cihat Sağol and Cem Çatık.

Emre Taha Özcan continues his musical journey as a composer and instrumentalist.
